Current Favourites #4

The last time I did my "Current Favourites" was last year in November, so it is long due I updated and did my next one. I need to try to make this a regular thing to update, since I haven't as much. Although as I have mentioned before I like to do it every now and then, therefore I can properly show you what I am currently enjoying and it won't be repetitive. I really enjoy putting together these types of posts, mainly because it gives me a moment to gather up all items I know I have been reaching for on the regular and it's quite satisfying to see which ones make it to the final post. For easier reading I decided to break it up into skincare and makeup, unlike my previous posts where I gathered them all together.

Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel ⎯ I've used this for a decent amount of time now, it really is a beautiful product and each time I use it, it feels so beautiful on the skin. I find it is really gentle and it feels so soothing when I massage it on my face. I like to use it day or night, just depends on what I reach for next. It is a luxury product so I do use it very sparingly. It removes makeup really well, although I do use a micellar water prior to using the cleansing gel. I don't use it just to remove makeup, some mornings or nights I like to use this to remove build up from the night/day. It contains Vitamins A, C & E, Omega 6, Pumpkin Enzymes, and many more lovely ingredients.
*Mieux Derma Grain & Grit Gentle Cleansing Exfoliant ⎯ When I received this cleansing in my first Maslow & Co box (Australian Edition), it was love at first use. I find using it especially in the morning really wakes up my skin. It comes out of the tube with a beautiful bright mint green shade and has a nice minty scent with an extremely refreshing feeling, leaving your skin nicely exfoliated and clean. I find on days when my skin needs a good pick me up, I reach for this for a nice skin pamper. It contains Crushed Limestone, Tea Tree and Peppermint.

*Uriage Depiderm Intensive Depigmenting Cream ⎯ As you know I have pigmentation and dark spots from sun damage or pimples. I've found using this each night for the last few months has lighten my dark spots all while smoothing out the texture of my skin as well. I have freckles on my cheeks and although they're naturally there, they too have brighten up a lot. It contains Vitamin C, AHA-BHA and Licorice Root Extracts.

*Linden Leaves Intensive Repair Eye Cream ⎯ This is another product from Maslow & Co box (New Zealand Edition), although fairly new to my regime, I have used it for a few weeks now and really enjoy it. I can't say just yet if it has make a big impact in terms of change, however I do find it leaves a nice smooth and tightening feeling around the eyes. It contains amazing ingredients such as Organic White Tea and Melon Extract. I love the way it is packaged in secured bottle with an easy to control pump.

*Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder in #53 ⎯ I've always been quite skeptical of drugstore makeup. There isn't much I own within my collection. However since finding a few great quality drugstore makeup, there are the occasional one or few products I am really enjoying. I never thought much about this powder, or to even try it, so when I was sent this and I gave it a try, I was so intrigued. It is absolutely beautiful and so smooth and velvet-y on the skin. If anything, it makes my makeup look extra smooth and flawless once applied. I still need to change to the shade #52 as the current shade I'm using is slightly getting too dark for me as I keep getting paler during this cold season. I highly recommend this powder and I will definitely be repurchasing it again, after I finish with this one.
Josie Maran Argan Enlightenment Illuminizer ⎯ I received this deluxe size sample in my Mecca Beauty Loop Level 3 box recently and I've really enjoyed it. I've worked with Josie Maran products in the past at work and I have always enjoyed the aesthetic nature to her makeup line. I find this illuminator to be absolutely stunning on the skin, it isn't too gold or too peachy but somewhere in between. It gives a nice glow to the skin with a very natural look. I love the size to this bottle as well, it has a decent amount in it and I know it will last me a while!
Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in #03 Cocoa Mirage ⎯ I think you wouldn't be surprised that this has made it to my current favourites. I can't stop wearing this palette, when I wear eyeshadow this is one of my most reach for. Mainly because it is so versatile all while so simple looking as well. I adore the pigmentation and texture to Tom Ford eyeshadows. They're stunning and apply so nicely on the eyes. The shades within this palette are all very wearable and you can create many looks with this, even if the shades look quite simple.
Tom Ford Lip Color in #41 Warm Sable ⎯ Again, another product from Tom Ford I can''t keep my hands off. If I could, I would own so many more lipstick shades from Tom Ford. There is definitely something unique to his entire line that sets it seperate from the rest (besides the price tag). I love the formula to these lip colours, they contain many extracts and oils making it ultra-creamy and have extreme pigments. The texture is exactly what you want applied to your lips, it is long lasting and even the packaging itself is so heavy and luxurious. I adore the uniqueness of this shade Warm Sable, is it one that I've never seen before. It has a burnt tone to it which really draws me to this shade each time.
NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Walkyrie ⎯ You know these NARS lip pencils are my absolute favourite and I have definitely grown my collection with these. They are one of my favourite formula in terms of matte finishes. I love this shade Walkyrie, it is so flattering on the lips and really ties any look together. It is described as a burnt coral red, which in my opinion is quite accurate. It definitely has a maroon tone to it as well. I love reaching for this shade especially when I want a bold lip that is wearable with any look or occasion.
*Rimmel Exaggerate Full Colour Lip Liner in #018 Addiction ⎯ Since trying these lip liners from Rimmel they have definitely become a favourite. They are extremely pigmented and apply really beautifully, however I do find because they are very creamy you can go through each liner very fast, even though it does have a decent amount of product in each liner. I actually enjoy that, and how it doesn't tug at your lips and leave them feeling dry. The shade Addiction is your typical 90's brown nude and of course I am all for that. It pairs nicely with a similar shade lipstick or on its own. I hope they release more shades within their collection. So far I have shades: Addition, East End Snob and Under My Spell, which are all absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend these lip liners if you're looking for a good and cheaper alternative. They're very comparable to the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat pencils in terms of longevity and texture.

Are any of these products in your favourites as well? What are your current favourites?
