Bioderma Sensibio Range

Bioderma has always been a favourite and cult brand within my skincare routine for many years. A holy grail staple within my skincare regime for years has always been the famous Sensibio *H2O Micelle Solution. I can't go a day without it and have never stopped restocking it within my skincare collection.

Just over a month ago I was kindly invited to a Breakfast with Bioderma event hosted by the beautiful ladies from Cosmetiques De France. Along with a small group of other Perth bloggers, we indulged in a delicious breakfast at Tiisch cafe (which might I add, is such a stunning cafe) all while discussing the exciting new launches of both Bioderma and Nuxe products (I will talk more about the Nuxe releases in another post).

I had such an amazing time and couldn't have asked for a perfect way to start my day with lovely company! Within the new launches from Biodema the release of Sensibio *Cleansing Milk, *Soothing Moisturising Toning Lotion and *AR BB Cream. I have only tried these products throughout the month and can safely say their fast becoming a hit in my books. I am particularly enjoying the Cleansing Milk and Toning Lotion most! (A full review to come.)

The BB Cream is a little bit of a miss for me at the moment! I've actually been trying this one out for months now as I was gifted this by the beautiful girls at CDF several months ago. I received another tube during the event and I have gifted this to my Mum, which she is actually really enjoying as she likes to mix it with her foundation to get the correct shade.

The reason I find it to a miss is due to the lack of shade range. Bioderma has only released one shade (in light/clair) which actually has a slight neutral pink undertone. If it were more yellow toned I could wear this a lot better. When I apply a thin layer it blends out really nicely on my skin  however, as I build up each layer I notice it turning a tad too dark and pink toned on my skin.

I really like the consistency of the formula, it smooths on nicely and feels light on the skin and the packaging is very sleek and perfect for travelling. Although this is aimed for people with rosacea, I find it works well on most skin types. I'm still playing around with this BB Cream, so I will report back on a later date. I hope Bioderma release more shades in the near future (preferably lighter and yellow/warm shades), it's so nice to see they're slowly bringing out some makeup products within their range.

Swatched/Blended (L-R) — Bioderma Sensibio AR BB Cream in Light/Clair. (As you can see in the photo it is slightly too dark for my skin but once blended out it settles on the skin well. You can't see most of the pink undertones in this photo however, it does lean more neutral than warm.)

Have you tried any products from the new Bioderma Sensibio range?
